Pamphlet Contest - New this year!
Develop a 8.5" x 11" tri-fold pamphlet that promotes the Belted Galloway breed. Submit pamphlet in the folded state ready to handout. Color or Black/White.
Age groups to be judged are as follows:
Pee Wee (ages 6 - 8)
Junior (ages 9 - 11)
Intermediate (ages 12 - 15)
Senior (ages 16 - 21 as of January 1st)
Business Card Contest - New this year!
Develop a business card, complete with a logo promoting your own Belted Galloway farm or business. This does not have to be an actual operation at the time.
Pee Wee (ages 6 - 8)
Junior (ages 9 - 11)
Intermediate (ages 12 - 15)
Senior (ages 16 - 21 as of January 1st)
Photo Contest:
Photos must be matted and cannot be smaller than 5" x 7" or larger than 16" high and 24" wide, outside measurement, including the mat. To prevent damage, coverage by plastic photographic print bags is recommended, but will not prevent a photo from being judged if not used.
No more than three pictures per person will be accepted. Professional photos will not be accepted. Film or digital photos will be accepted. All photos must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. All photos will become property of Fryeburg Youth Show/NEGG for future advertising.

Pictures to be judged will be black and white and colored. The subject of photos entered should revolve around cattle. Cattle alone, people with cattle,==r farm life with cattle. Prizes per age group will be awarded.
Cook-Off Contest - open to all youth!
Cook Off contest will consist of three to four member teams up to age 21 (as of January 1st.
Teams will be supplied with 2 lbs. of Beltie Burger to incorporate into their dish. Teams are asked to provide their own starch and vegetable for their presentation, as well as grills or any other cooking supplies you will need. You are also required to provide a copy of your recipe.
Teams are allowed 1 hour to prepare and cook their meals (start to finish). You will be allowed up to 10 minutes for an oral presentation of your dish. Each team member is encouraged to participate, and will be judged on their participation.
You may create your own team "Theme" or "Skit" for the presentation of your dish.
**EACH TEAM WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THEIR OWN TABLE**
